My two passions in life are horses and horticulture. I gardened professionally for many years and never found a glove that fit well and could be worn all day. I felt the same way about equestrian gloves. Those that performed the best were too bulky and restricted subtle movements.
In 1999 I created Foxgloves Garden Gloves based on the design of a woman's dress glove from the 1950s. By combining Supplex® nylon for durability and Lycra® spandex for four-way stretch, I fashioned a long-lasting glove that fit snugly and protected my hands.
